The Little Dreamer is Coming
On August 25, 2015 my life was changed. My perspective was changed. There is a life inside my tummy... my child has finally came.
My heart beats faster than normal as I see my little one moving around my tummy. My Lord and my God, thank you. thank you. thank you.
I have not imagined my life without my copycat. My precious little one is a game changer. I see life even more different this time and I feel so much blessed to bear a child as I feel my child kicks. My baby is even more excited when my husband touches my tummy. It seems that my baby is telling my husband "Hello! Daddy, I am alright in here"
I cannot wait the day to see my love and I thank my friends and family for their support, the blessings and wishes my child has already received.
A blessing will come in God's perfect time...

To you I surrender
We all have 24 hours in 7 days.
There will be a point in our lives when we will feel that we have reached that certain segment that we are already half of our life. Our question is what else is going to happen tomorrow? or on the next half of our lives... Sometimes our statement is, what have I done with the last half?
In our life, we are tested, tormented but redeemed at the end of the day.. We can only feel being redeemed if we, finally, learned that there is always the greater power WHO wants us to learn day in and day out of our lives. The spirit who never left our side.
We are unique in HIS eyes. Each one of us is created for a purpose. Thus, now that we have reached to a point that we think we are already at the half of our lives, then there is an opportunity for us to use the other half to give glory and praises the One - GOD.
After all, the sole purpose of being created, is to give glory and praises to God. And so today, realizing that I am already 32 years old, all I wanted is to give back all his goodness by asking and praying to him to use me to talk to people and use me for his glory.
After all, after everything from the day I was born on May 29, 1983 at 7:15 AM, my life has been written from beginning to end.
We all have 24 hours a day, at this point let's use each hour to love, forgive and give happiness to those God created and used for his eternal Glory.
My praises and glory to you our God Almighty. Amen and Amen.
To you I surrender.

Goes Beyond
I know I haven't been writing in this section for quite sometime, I have focused on my new career though - financial planning - which I am enjoying a lot.
I wanted to write today to document the goodness of our Great God. God knows when I need HIM. He knows when to give and bless me things I have wanted for. His delays are all blessings and I know that there is a deeper meaning within.
For the past few days, I engrossed myself with movies that caught my attention; Heaven is for Real and Left Behind. Those two movies attest the realities that there is heaven, and that there is peace and love waiting for us out there.
My thanks and praise to God cannot be and will never be sufficient by just writing this blog. I am praying that someone, right now, who needs to read about this will open my blog and will find peace and answer to his/her questions.
My friend, whoever is reading this, there maybe questions you wanted to ask God, you are just thinking that he is not responding, that's not true at all. He has been responding since the moment your mother conceived you from her womb and our destiny has been written in God's book.
To God be the glory and all praises! Thank you God! Thank you dear God for everything.
Whatever the message of what I write today, I know, in my heart, what was written, goes beyond.

The Bulb - Enlightenment! Insights worth writing for!
Yesterday, I had a chance to listen to the Premier Thought Leaders - Randell Tiongson (Non Non-Sense Personal Finance), Paolo Tigib (Entrep Champ), Yeng Remulla (Productive Pinoy), Jayson Lo (YOUnique), Marvin Germo (Stock Smarts)and Pastor Dennis Sy (Rich for Life) at Victory Greenhills.
Here are the main things I learned from each speaker.
1. Start Something (Yeng Remulla)
Sir yeng, is one of the speakers who has an impact on me. He said that some of us may be wanting a book to be written or published, some may want to become public speakers or some would like to have their own business. All he mentioned are the things I really want to have in my life - just like the others - and he said that nothing can be done unless we start something.
In my heart, I would love to have my own book published as well. I don't know how but I know that the Good Lord will just put in everything in his power if I am meant to become an author someday :) It's important to start something instead of nothing at all.
and because of that, I gave a birth to a new blog called Pera Pera Lang Pinoy where I will be posting / compiling insights about money and investments. So I guess, itong blog na ito, is a good start! :)
2. Retire Comfortably (Randell Tiongson)
I am really delighted to see the talk show host of Money Talks at Energy Fm - Sir Randell Tiongson. It was In fact, the radio talk show at 106.7 where I was given a pair of tickets for Premier Thought Leaders. I am really greatful!
He said that in retirement, studies show that there will be more retirees in year 2035 and if these retirees will just depend on their children, these retirees will just become a burden to the society.
Imagine, the cycle the Filipinos are going through. The children who support their parents are also growing and taking care of their own families. While in between, these children-bread-winners don't notice that they are not saving up for themselves for retirement. Thus, by the time they retire, it's their time to depend on their children too and so becomes a cycle.
Now this cycle has to stop. Gusto ba natin na pagdating ng panahon, aasa din tayo sa mga anak na natin? We are robbing them of their freedom!
3. Entrepreneurship (Paolo Tigib)
I admire sir Paolo on his views about business. He said that in business, there are two main things to consider. FEEL (pulso, intuition, pag-aralan) and FILL (punuin, fill in the gap). Although, we were not given the chance to listen to these speakers more than 45 minutes each because of the interest of time, we got so many insights from them.
He also share examples of Entrepreneur champs such as Mang Inasal, The Generic Pharmacy and many others who are able to break away from the same industry they are in.
Also, he said that a business regardless of the size must have a business plan. Formal or informal will do.
4. Stock Market is for everyone (Marvin Germo)
Sir Marvin germo, made stock investing easy for those who have yet no idea of what the stock market is. I appreciate how he inspires and at the same time educate the audience. I even feel more confident as a financial consultant that I am on the right track. :) educating the
His insights about investing allows me to share with others that the stock market is not only for the rich but everyone! The stock market is very much accessible.
5. Younique (Jayson Lo)
Sir Jayson Lo was able to uncover our personalities. I learned the reasons why and how I deal with myself and with others. The D-I-S-C (Dominant, Influencer, Steady and Corrective) personalities are really awesome that we had fun in learning in which category we fall into. Our strengths and weaknesses are also highlighted during his talk.
He is able to motivate us too on how to reach greater heights by showing us some of his friends who are able to become achievers by identifying their strengths and weaknesses. I agree that sir Jayon Lo - as what his co-speakers said - is a motivator!
6. Rich for Life (Pastor Dennis Sy)
The main thing I learned from Pastor Dennis Sy is the act of Giving. I never realized that it is in giving that God fills in what we are lacking of. We just have to make a decision of becoming a Giver and we should not fear that we give so much because again, God will fill in the gap for us hundredfold.
He said that we need to BE rich and not to GET rich and that's what God wants us to be also.
He shared to us that his family has several funds allocated for different accounts such as Giving fund, Vacation Fund, Car Fund etc.
I agree that these authors will be the next best selling authors. They are now my favorites! :)

Life. As we know it.
Life. As we know it.
There are times in our lives that we are really bound to make mistakes and we ask ourselves why it has to be our choice. Today, I realized in my 30 years of existence, there is one thing I hope I have never chosen.
I am turning 30 on Wednesday and looking back I am ashamed of what I have done with some parts of my life so far. I just feel that I have failed God. :( However, I realize that we are lucky enough to have a merciful and loving God.
It pushed me to write once again, because It's difficult to express things now to somebody. To whoever I will share this feelings, it may be difficult for him to contain the things I am going to tell. I have suffered so much, but it made me a stronger woman. I can now say that it's really a matter of holding on or really to let go. Just like what the movie LIFE OF PI imparted to the viewers that the essence of life is the art of letting go. It's been almost 5 years now and I am really thinking if this is what I still want...
My fear is not I won't be able to move forward, my fear is that I may lose that feeling forever and just let go at the moment everyone least expected. And oh, one more thing, I may not have a tear drop anymore. Just like now, I can't feel the tears coming out of my eyes and all I feel is a silent prayer from my heart pounding so hard asking God to help me contain everything today.
Life as we know it. Up until when will I hold on? I surrender everything to God from now on. So be it.
Dear God, I still thank you for making me who I am today. I am so much thankful for giving me such a wonderful family. My parents, my brother, my cousins and new friends from work who are willing to listen to me despite everything.
Thank you God for everything. I love you.
Life as we know it.

Are you prepared to die?
Okay. So its been quite a while "again" since the last time I wrote on my blog. Haven't been thinking about anything lately but more of course of what I do now - Financial Planning. It was just recently that I realized, financial planning really is a discipline. If people discipline themselves to save, financial independence will begin.
There was a time when every time I go out of the house, I look at people as commodity. You know that feeling when your main customers are anyone you meet right after your doorstep. Imagine how many people are there in the country and if you are able to reach out to at least 500 people,, Gosh! you're something!
But on one hand, what I do know has some advocacy in it. I find meaning and peace in opening the mind of the Filipino people on why saving and investing is important. 4 or 5 years ago, I had my first policy, without even understanding what it's for... Today, I realized that, that day made a difference in my life today. Getting insurance means loving myself and my family.
I can't imagine how would it be if I died last year because of an accident (had an accident last year around September 14 or 15, 2011) . I had my car sandwiched by a Toyota Fortuner and another Toyota Vios, it's actually a miracle that nothing happened to me physically. Hence, I told myself that lucky to know that I am insured. I can at least leave something for my family to move on. I got insurance for my car though so that's a huge help!
Just now, while I am writing this, I realized too that the best question to ask yourself is, Are you ready to die now? At this moment? If your answer is yes then lucky you. If your answer is NO, well firstly ask God for forgiveness, secondly get an insurance policy and finally think about what else you wanted to do before you become a soul..
Life is not like what you think it was when you were playing with your barbie dolls or with your toy cars when you were 4 or 5 years old, life is not about everything, it's about something you are meant to do. One of the things everyone is meant to do is protect yourself and your loved ones to be eaten alive by cirmcustances in Life which you know that you and your family are not prepared to experience.
What are these circumstances? These circumstances are called ACHEs. As what I have learned from an ad from Pru Life UK, an ad about the "Story of the Two Bunnies" ACHEs are Accident, Critical Illness and Hospitalization.
Now to you who is reading this, Are you prepared to die?
What's next?
